Two Buck Buccaneer Show
TUESDAY, FEB. 28th @ SABALA’S Mt. TABOR
4811 SE HAWTHORNE, PORTLAND OREGON
8 – 11 PM
$2ºº
21+
This Tuesday, prepare for the “Two Buck Buccaneer Show” at Sabala’s Mt. Tabor. For just two thin dollar bills, ye can set sail with two monster-pirate-rock sets from Captain Bogg and Salty…. And still have a bag full of doubloons to spend on grog!!
This here is a benefit show for our favorite Portland rock club, Sabala’s. Those of you who joined us last year for Festival de Piratas VI know the powers of this mighty little club. In fact we had such a fine time, that we will be having this year’s SEVENTH annual Festival there on June 24th! (bit of a heads up for ye there swabbies).
They’ve asked us to favor them with a special “off night” show to help them navy’gate the icy waters of winter, so we throwing a doozy bucko.
The doors open at 8pm and we takes the stage about 8:30. So don yer sea-dog fineries and join us on a school night for a rowdy row of rockin’ rovers.
...and for younger buccaneers and pirate families of all ages:
CAPTAIN BOGG & SALTY sets sail with MARCH FOURTH marching band
SATURDAY, MARCH 4th @ WONDER BALLROOM
128 NE RUSSELL ST., PORTLAND OREGON
3PM
KIDS 5-12 $5ºº, ADULTS $8ºº, CHILDREN 4 and UNDER are FREE.
An all-ages show that is guaranteed to make ye jig like a jellyfish, CAPTAIN BOGG & SALTY joins the cacophonous party that is March Fourth Marching Band. This is their special anniversary party and they’ve asked the good ship Pollywogg to start the show proper with 30 minutes of music beginning at 3 o’clock.
This is going to be one for ol McGraw’s record books, says I. First ye’ll thrill to the nautical nonsense of your favorite singin’ pirates and then a full cargo of hulla-hoopers, stilt-walkers, and jugglers will usher in the melodious circus of MARCH FOURTH.
This is will be a wondrous show, by thunder!
Join the party, wontcha matey?

In my opinion, Tuesday night turned out to be the perfect night for a show. The audience was large enough to make their enthusiasm felt yet small enough to enjoy the music on a level that just can’t be reached in a crowd. The atmosphere at Sabalas is terrific and the physical vibrations of the place are definitely a major asset. I sincerely hope that you will schedule more weeknight shows and more shows at Sabalas.
