The Thanks of Yer Captain

The gratitude of a pirate captain shall follow here. For I must tell ye that the Pieces of 8ight Music Video Caper of Thursday July 6th 2006, was a day of full sheets in the gale, and it will prove out to rare treasure, to be sure. And mark me now, that every accomplice in this bit of silver screen skullduggery was true to form and performed with admirable, however dastardly, intention.
Full marks, give I, to director Vance “Shots” Malone for his bravery and quick wit in the fray. For the keen foresight and cunning preppy’ration of producers David Cress and Sarah McMurray I take off me hat with humble thanks. Dizzy with awe, were we all at the Bristol fashion of crewmates and tacticians from Food Chain Films with notable distinctions handed down to Greg Schmitt and Tyler Robinson.
To me trusted musical mutineers Ramshackle, Sunny Jim, Filibuster, Buckle, First Mate McGraw, and John “Bumboat Barkley” Breen, may I say, rarely have I seen such exemplary discharge of their duties. The mugs on these here lugs shined like new ha’pennies once they cameras swooped in for their close-em-ups. T’ was beautiful to the point of making an old salt, weepy. Not me, you understand… some other guy that I saw…. was …. nevermind.
But now, come I, to the bravest souls and the boldest hearts that shipped with the Pollywogg yesterday: them volunteer buccaneers. A fine compliment of pirates, parents, and piratey-parents answered the bo’sun’s call and endured unspeakable tedium, blistering lights, and a relentless soundtrack of PIECES OF 8IGHT! to help ensure victory. Far and above the call to duty were ye and you shall find me in your debt.
Aye, it was a daring conspiracy that was enough to put any mate on their mettle, but by thunder it will be worth it. I will return with more updates on the PIECES of 8IGHT VIDEO when I has them to share. However, rest assured that before the winds of next season ye shall all delight to the to the flickering jewels we captured yesterday.
