A new CD for "Seasoned Buccaneers"
· Tuesday May 30, 2006 by First Mate McGraw ·
The followin be an excerpt from the Captain’s May 30 address:
Freshly pressed and ready to blow your striped socks off, our newest album PRELUDE to MUTINY is an album of “pyratical rock for seasoned buccaneers and merry mutineers”. A little bolder. A little more pirate, a little more rock. This here album represents that “festival rock” side of the Pollywogg Six.
Almost one year to the day since we began the recording sessions for this CD, and now it’s flooding to the scuppers with pub-pirate-rock favorites like; Drunken Sailor, Mutiny, Doldrums, Dead Men Tell No Tales… and six more that we’ll keep under our hat for the time, matey.
When can you sign yourself up for a copy of Prelude to Mutiny? Your first chance to get yers will be June 24th at the Festival de Piratas VII, but then we’ll be taking orders online and dragging them around with us to all our summer shows.
We are really excited to see what “Prelude” is going to do once it’s shed it’s sea legs. During the mastering process, the prophetic First Mate McGraw was heard to say “This one’s gonna outlive us all.” I think he be right.

We are really looking forward to going to as many of the summer shows as we can – and getting the newest cd! I still wish Captain Bogg & Salty were playing up at the zoo this summer – maybe next year!? My best friend purchased a copy of The Pegleg Tango and Bedtime Stories for Pirates, after I told her how great the music is (for kids & adults) she LOVED them both, she lives in NYC. – I have heard that you guys might be playing there …are you?
