Join the crew of Captain Bogg & Salty as they turn mild mannered Creston Elementary into a pirate-rockin romp!

A bit of history on the caper itself—On July 6th, 2006 many a bold-heart volunteered to join us for a long day of filming the same song over and over and over again. It was that exhausting kind of fun that happens at theme-parks and weekend trips to Tortuga. Food Chain Films, Director Vance Malone , and Producers David Cress and Sarah McMurray guided all our crews through the squall-like conditions of a film set to achieve great victory. Local comic guru, John Breen took the wheel of this all-star cast of Pollywoggers to lead us to safe harbour.

To each and everyone of you who contributed to this celluloid adventure, you have as much thanks as a pirate can muster. All the individual crew families that donated their time and talent to the day have our sincere gratitude, as well as their very own, limited edition DVD of the video!

Now ye wish ye were there, huh matey? Well, watch the video, (but to truly get the feel for what it was like to be there, watch it about 23 times in a row, standing up).

My 3 y/o son is now having a Pirate themed birthday party because he loved your video so much. I feel like I know exactly what you went through in filming it, because I’ve watched it at least 50 times! But it’s all good. VERY fun!

“Pieces of 8 to buy a patch to cover your squint eye good.” You guys are great! My kids and I found the video on Music Choice and have been watching it 5 or 6 times a day (and cracking up every time: “What’s a hart binger?” The whole scene with the principal is soooo funny) ever since.

Because of the video I bought your CD for the kids for Christmas.

So my question is. When are you gonna make videos for all your songs and release a dvd?

We love pieces of 8ight! My son has been watching the video OnDemand at least 3 times a day. Went to watch it today after being away from home a few days- and it wasn’t there! Talk about a meltdown. What can we do to get them to bring it back! We have ordered the CD but it isn’t the same as him being able to watch the video!Thanks for making a video that the whole family loves!

My kids and I saw you at the Portland Pirate Festival and were hooked. We have long had the Pirate fever. I bought the kids each a CD for Christmas, and we know them by heart already. My wife is ready to have me drawn and quartered.

I stumbled upon your CD Pegleg Tango at our library. I’m so glad I checked it out. I was/am really impressed with the quality of lyrics and music. I hope to see you in person and a future concert.
