The Aladdin Holiday Show

What a great time at the holiday show!
I Say.
Now, that was dashed exciting. For starters, our little crew managed to sell out sold out the Aladdin Theater, a venue in Portland with very high regard, featuring such national acts as Donovan, Robyn Hitchcock, and even Kris Kristofferson. I do hope that everybody could get a ticket. Perhaps next time we should book two shows?
Anywho, the show—from the band’s perspective—was a delight. The sound was top-notch, the stage was pleasantly large, and there was more than enough room backstage for your truly to have a quick nap out of earshot of Ramshackle’s ‘practising’. The audience was simply fantastic, dancing, clapping, and making a terrific noise. I was a tad worried that the rafter were going to come crashing down, but apparently the building is made of stronger stuff. My favourite moment was meeting everybody outside after the show. There were some spectacular pirates indeed!
