Portland’s annual nautical masquerade ball and pirate music festival returns for its eighth dastardly year on Saturday, June 9th to The Wonder Ballroom.

From traditional, to punk, to power chord, The Festival de Piratas is a celebration of piratical music on the sharper side of the cutlass. This traditional night of grog-swilling mayhem has become a NW favorite as The 21 and older, buccaneer bacchanalia. This time around, it will be the Wonder Ballroom that transforms into a reveling pirate’s lair full of stripy socks and glamed rock.
Strutting the performance decks this year; concertina maestro and traditional pirate balladeer Broadside Johnnie, celtic-oi!-punk with a peppery pirate twist from Rum Rebellion
and the world premier practitioners of Pirate-Rock, Captain Bogg & Salty.
